[ # ] Guess That “Christmas Spirit” Crap Is Asking Too Much from Victoria Osteen!
December 24th, 2005 under Christian Crap, Hypocrisy

osteens Thanks Paul for this one! Seems Victoria Osteen, wife of Super-Mega-Pastor Joel Osteen might not be the one to count on for spreading Christmas cheer! For Victoria, it appears that Having Your Best Life Now means that when you say jump, flight attendants have to ask “how high?”

While aboard a Continental Airlines flight, a fellow passenger observed:

“She was just abusive,” said Sheila Steele, who said she was sitting behind Victoria Osteen. “She was just like one of those divas.”

Steele said Victoria Osteen was upset about liquid on her pull-down tray and asked a flight attendant to have it cleaned. When the attendant, who was carrying paperwork to the cockpit, told her she couldn’t do it immediately, Osteen replied, “Fine, get me a stewardess who can,” Steele said.
She said Victoria Osteen pushed a flight attendant and tried to get into the cockpit. Passengers quoted in the Colorado paper did not address those details.
Soon after, authorities were called to the plane, she said, although it was not clear Tuesday whether they were airline officials.

The Osteens were kicked off the plane and fellow passengers were forced to wait two hours while the Osteen’s luggage was removed.

Guess those WWVD bracelets would have been hard to sell anyway.

Well this wouldn’t have happened had Joel acted like the other TV preachers and bought his own jet!

Actually, I like Joel. This is one person’s view.

Your right. Folks like the Osteens shouldn’t have to put up with crap from anybody! It must be a terrible inconvenience having to fly first-class.

Joel Osteen’s Wife Forgot About Christmas Spirit

Here’s a blogger who found the story behind Victoria Osteen’s ejection off a Continental Airlines flight….

Glad to see what really happened. I saw this a few days ago and I figured it was another episode like what went on with the Crystal Cathedral guy. Anyway, it seems the power of positive thinking goes out the windown when you board a jet. Maybe that will be in Osteen’s next book.

Yeah…I don’t know what to think. I do think they should have their own jet, but time will tell. The funny thing is that neither Osteen or the guy from the Crystal monstrosity church preach a traditional message. I would be interested to hear your take on it Howie.

I think that little events like this one and the one on Larry King live are going to chip away at the Osteen’s credibility. I hope that they can turn this thing around. God is a big God. He has forgiven people for a lot less, but people aren’t that forgiving.

Doesn’t the bible say something about turning the other cheek?

did you guys watch the interview with joel and victoria on larry king yesterday? larry asked her about what happened and she said that the whole incident was nothing and was blown out of proportion. larry then asked something like “well if it was nothing, don’t you want to explain what went on so that you can be vindicated?” and she gave a totally illogical reponse, the stupidity of which i forgot. but she also said something about how she was trying to protect her children, and i burst out laughing. joel, of course, looked like the whipped man he is and didn’t even look at her when she was talking about it. very very interesting. i recommend everyone to watch the interview (december 23, 2006, larry king live on CNN) if possible.
