At the beginning of class today, I explained my view of “Judge not, that ye be not judged.” I finished the class with a tirade against Bill O’Reilly’s right to defend Christmas since he’s such a horrible person.
Man, do I feel like a hypocrite! Next time, I’ll just have to deal with his awful logic. It’s much less hypocritical and a lot more compelling. Sorry Jesus. Please forgive me.
I was asked to take an interest inventory the other day and guess what? I need to become a flight attendant. Oh well. Wish I had known that before I got my PhD in Theology!
Anyway, the results had to go through someone at the University before they got to me. Homan and I were a bit concerned because we both answered that we dislike religious people. I’m not sure why the question was on the test, but at least I didn’t answer “strongly dislike”!
It’s a shame really. The folks that have given me the most crap in my life have been religious folk. Of course, some of my dearest friends are religious too. Yeah, they’re not all bad (religious folks, not my friends) but I wish they could be less judgmental and more loving. It’s a shame really.
Scientists in Columbia have discovered a snake that lived about 60 million years ago. So what? You ask!
It was 42.7 feet long and weighed 2500 pounds! Back then, it was about 10 degrees warmer in Columbia than it is today. That’s partially why the snake lived then. Guess I’ll ride my scooter more!
