After reading about the active volcano in Alaska, my first thought was that I hope Alaskans don’t forget about Bobby Jingle’s comments about how wasteful volcano monitoring is.

Our governor is a bigger jerk than your governor!

Adrastos has a very good post about them as well. I don’t know either of them very well, but through reading their blogs and a few brief times I spent with them I grew to regard them as friends.

It hurts when good folks leave New Orleans. I pray that their journeys will be meaningful and full of joy. Next time you’re in town, stop by and whip my butt. Take care my friends.

Over the years I’ve felt the need to rebuke several of my Baptist Brethren (Not surprisingly, no Baptist Sistren) because of their bad behavior. I’ve tried to do so in love, but have sometimes failed.

Please take a look at Adrastos’ response to my earlier rebuke. Notice how he tastefully responded without being overly defensive. I guess that’s what his patient better half sees in him.

You are an example of class my friend. If my atheist buddy can be so civil, why can’t my Baptist Brethren? Guess that’s why I’ve been known to hang around atheists, I learn a lot from them. What a privilege to have a friend like you Adrastos!

To quote Paul McCartney: “When you got a job to do you gotta do it well.” As personal minister to Adrastos, I must, at the risk of being called a Malaka, step in and “give the other fella hell.”

You need to repent of your post that makes fun of my personal hero McKay Hatch who started the No Cussing movement. He’s a good little boy trying to make the world a better place. You do have a point that calling folks like Chaney, Rove, and others “Knuckleheads” just won’t do. But you don’t have to trash McKay to do it!

If you’re going to make fun of someone, pick Homan. He’s an easy target and even his family doesn’t mind when you trash him. What’s next? Are you going to start making fun of other folks on a mission to make the world a better place? People like Veronica White who’s doing all she can to clean up this city? Folks like David Vitter who take a stand for Family Values? Folks like C Ray Nagin who’s working his butt off (Sorry McKay) to rebuild this city?

I’ve had no other choice, but to enroll you in McKay’s army to rid the world of indecency. At significant personal cost, I’ve enrolled you as a member of the No Cussing club. I sure hope this helps. As your personal minister, I can not do otherwise.
