The Algiers Riverfest is one of those hidden treasures. Not too hot usually. Not too crowded. Easy to get to. Great music. Great food. Good friends. Here are a few pics:

I wish I lived in New Orleans (and not just because that girl is wearing a short sleeved shirt when I am probably going to be shoveling snow tomorrow). I have been several times and it feels like every time I go, I leave part of my heart (and sometimes the full contents of my stomach) there.
Do you know any good LCMS churches where a “not-conservative” pastor could survive?
