I’m so glad I don’t have such an ego that I have to spend hours trying to get hits from other countries on my blog. That would be sad.
However, a couple of days ago I couldn’t get my website to load. I called BlueHost and the tech was very helpful. He wasn’t able to fix my site. He said that there were dozens of PHP issues. I found it strange because I hadn’t changed anything on my blog in days and certainly no PHP stuff. We agreed that I’d probably have to reload Wordpress to get it to work. But, a few hours later the site was back up.
Only now, instead of the 150 or so hits a day I’m only getting about 30-50. I don’t get those folks who type in “Dirty Stories” in Google anymore though. I’m not sure what’s going on. I’m so glad me ego isn’t tied to this. I’d be in a panic. If any of you out there have any idaes what might have happened let me know!
I think I’m on to something….when I try to access old posts like this one I can’t.
UPDATE: I think I got it! I changed my permalink structure.
